Our journey went far beyond my imagination. I think Angus' latest blog pretty much sums it up perfectly. Scotland is an incredible country. Its history is inspiring. Its countryside beyond beautiful. A castle around every bend in the road, each telling its own story. The spiritual isle of Iona made me cry, as did Dryburgh Abbey and Melrose. I thought Stirling Castle was the most spectacular structure I'd ever seen until we visited Edinburgh Castle. There is a love for country here that makes me proud to have the Scottish DNA running through me. I felt like I had finally come home.

Many thanks to Angus, Drew, Dalbo, the Albannoch crew and especially Bill and Karen for making this wondrous trip possible and for making us feel so much at home.
