Arlington, Texas, raised $600 on the weekend for research into diabetes. The
raffle fundraiser for a DidgeriDrew didgeridoo was won by Russell Dienell.
Walk
(or Donate) to Cure Diabetes

JDRF's Walks are
family-friendly, held at great locations, and feature plenty of
entertainment, food, and fun. We invite you to become one of the 500,000+
people at our 200 Walk sites nationwide this year who are making a
difference in the lives of people with type 1 diabetes. You'll have a great

International Research
into Diabetes for Kids

BROTHER is stepping up its support of Diabetes Research with
the launch of it's first European and Middle East tour.
"We are using this opportunity to challenge our own level of
commitment to humans affected by diabetes",
announced BROTHER musician, Hamish, in a statement on the
band's web site.
"BROTHER has supported the cause in Australia, the US and
Canada but now in a matter of weeks we get to take it completely
International ... Paris, Bordeaux, London, Cairo ... here we come."
5% of BROTHER's merchandise income from the tour will be
allocated to research into diabetes.
In addition the band will meet with diabetes groups, organisations
and individuals to discuss plans for future collaborative endeavours
to raise awareness and support around diabetes.
