Mid May
Back in the US after living the dream that is Australia.
Landed and stayed up reviewing Mongrel Mythology
in prep for our final edits.
Got on another plane
not knowing the time
nor the date.
Hit PA
and one of our favourite places to play.
Bethlehem.
The Riverfusion humans had invited us back
for RiversEve.
Down by the river
the Ice House
is a wonderful venue.
A packed crowd,
The Killdares warmed them then headed home to Texas.
We had such a great-vibed show
hitting the stage feeling energised.
The students from Liberty High School
headed by Veronica Delfino
under the direction of Karen Dolan
run one of the finest events we play.
Rising funds
to transform Bethlehem's historic
Illick's Mill into a community environmental center
they actually get it right ...
sound, hospitality, promotion, aesthetics...
a delight to work with.
Our evening was capped with an impromptu and improvised
appearance from the O'Grady Quinlan Academy Dancers.
We're going to feature them again ... Mayfair Festival (PA, May 30).
Finished our few PA days
in an all-nighter with Sam for the final dvd edit
despite his pending prom
then got on a plane.
Talent is everywhere.
PA is beautiful this time of year.
